Criss Cross Security General Manager- Gerrit Joubert was in the army for 2 years, 17 years in the police force, of which 5 years he was a member of former president Nelson Mandela’s Protection Detail. He has presented advanced VIP protection courses, whilst still in the police. He then left the police and moved to the Middle East as a private security consultant. Mr. Gerrit Joubert has been working as Site Manager at Criss Cross Wild Coast Sun, since 2007 and since then, the Wild Coast Sun is the only casino in the Sun international group to have not experienced an armed robbery.
